GOLDENBROOK HOSTAS specializes in providing our customers with newer varieties of Hostas as well as the tried and true varieties. We grow hostas both in pots and in the field. We are pleased to be able to offer over 250 varieties. Each year we continue to add new Hostas to our gardens. As new varieties are available, they will be added to this site. This year we have added the fabulous H. ‘Stitch in Time’, H. ‘Frosted Mouse Ears, H. ‘Holy Mouse Ears’ to go with hosta of the year 2008, H. ‘Blue Mouse Ears’, H. ‘Brother Stefan’, H. ‘High Society’, H. ‘Eskimo Pie’, H. ‘Fireworks’, H. ‘Fire and Brimstone’, H. ‘Solar Flare’, H. ‘Emerald Ruff Cut, H. ‘Ohh La La’. We have spent 9 years transforming our one-acre property into a tranquil oasis of both shade and full-sun gardens. A landscaper by profession, Carel has devoted endless hours to developing a backyard retreat which features a Victorian conservatory surrounded by mature specimen hosta and an immense pond accented with cannas and tropical plants.
We have extensive show gardens and we encourage our customers to come and pick out their favorite hostas. We are open on weekends from May - October. For other times, you will need to call ahead to ensure we are home. (905-449-5906).
We inspect all our
hostas carefully to ensure we are virus (HVX) free.
Mail orders (Canada only) will be shipped by express post on Monday mornings.
Exact shipping costs will be determined by your order. Larger plants, or
course, cost more to ship. Order early to ensure your favorites, as some of the
newer varieties are very limited supply.
